Right now, people across three subreddits are working to complete the ARG (Alternate Reality Game) that was found on the Dota 2 subreddit less than two days ago (January 31, 2016. It appears as though it pertains at least partially to Assassin's Creed, making reference to the Knights Templar, assassins, a mysterious organization called Teragon Group, and Jacque de Molay. Additionally, both the cities of Acre and Florence (the Ponte Vecchio bridge in particular) seem to be important.

Below are links to the three aforementioned comment threads. This has the potential to be something really amazing, so please help us out!

r/assassinscreed (https://www.reddit.com/r/assassinscreed/comments/43sbi1/hi_rassassinscreed_over_in_rdota2_we_discovered/)

and r/Dota2 (https://www.reddit.com/r/DotA2/comments/43rwm2/followup_to_the_arg_found_in_yesterdays_thread/)

Let's do this thing

Huge props goes out to u/Avocados_Constant for starting this madness.

That's some intense stuff. lol

I dunno, there seems a lot more stuff tied to Dota2 at first glance, but it is odd how much Templar stuff is in there. Almost like they've stumbled over two different games.

Things could change after I post this, but I personally don't think this is AC related.

(Half Life 3 confirmed! :p)

Seems pretty sick.
If this is AC-related, presumably about a new game, it would be one of the most elaborated and interesting introductions/marketing campaigns of a game pulled off by UBISOFT.
Wonder why is in the DOTA2 reddit though...
