View Full Version : Victory At Sea Okinawa images

Hey guys, I've finally waded through all thirteen hours of VAS and have some stunning captures of the the battle of Okinawa. The images that follow are just a short omage to the disc;
In the image you can see the US Fleet at some fifteen hundred ships, name those Carriers gentleman <ggg.>

FPS whiners beware the next number of shots, here the Japanese twin flys through flak to overfly the Carrier, it may have dropped a torp already; in this shot you can't even hardly see the AC for the flak curtain around the task force;

Night fighting after the first day of the Battle:

In this second to last one for tonight you see a young Kamikaze pilot drinking a Sake toast as he goes off to his AC;http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v149/msdavis/PDVD_009.bmp
And to end this whole thing, here is just about the most somber image I,ve seen in years, a pilot about ready to go into combat is holding his puppy. But then you realise he's not coming home, and he can't be more than a boy...
