Hello Folks,

Our second update of the year is now live and we’ve got a little extra in this one for you. Along side some additional info while using Uplay you can now change your Display name within the client itself.

Changes in this release:

You can now change your display name in the Uplay PC client under the "Account Information" page. Note: This change will not take effect within games currently running

Added an in-game notification when a game you are currently playing releases a new update
Added more information to the download flow which now displays a progress bar when the client is allocating disk space

Bug Fixes:

Fixed a rare occurance in which the license agreement would be displayed twice
Fixed and issue in which the overlay would not appear for some games
Fixed an issue where tooltips would not close under certain circumstances
Fixed an issue where the achievements tab would sometimes not appear in the overlay

That’s all for now, remember to keep sharing your feedback as we’re always looking to improve Uplay!

This new update 2.

Still has issues. I have got Tom Clancy Splinter Cell Blacklist installed with patches. Purchased via Origin and installed via Origin. Can open and play the game via Origin. Can also open and play via the Desktop Icon for the game. Also can open and play via the "play" Option within the Uplay PC Client. Across all clients Origin/Uplay/desktop, the game is installed, fully patched and working. Selecting the option within Uplay Version Update 2 to Verify Files. Uplay reports can not find files, please try to reinstall. How can Uplay find the file/game to show as Active with achievements, start the game, play the game all ok but yet can not verify the game files? Uninstalling and reinstalling game does not fix the issue only increases users bandwidth through the roof.
