I went to an exposition in Paris about Art in video games. Of course there was a strong AC presence.

But what caught my attention was this huge curved screen with a video of AC Unity.

It was a first person tour of Paris, kinda like a VR experience.

Wow, it was incredible.

It was a polished version of the game. With almost infinite draw distance. And polished crowds !!! No pop-ins, no glitches...

So I guess it was technically possible after all..

I wish we could have been able to play this version on PC...

If anyone is going to Paris until the 5th of March, go check it out !

They could probably include those settings but then people would ***** about the recommended requirements and yell that it's unoptimized when it would purposefully be demanding because of ridiculous draw distance and tweaks to pop-in distance.

That was probably running in a very powerful PC.

Not necessarily. This would be similar to a vertical slice of the game, so just a small piece of the entire game.

That said, that's not what polish is. AC Unity is not unplished because it doesnt have better draw distance or little pop in. All of that is called optimization.

You're right, I forgot to take that in consideration.
