NICE!!!! Best I've seen yet!
If they can just give us long wake from the stern of the ship we are set!!
Love the nav lights - that floggy glow is top notch...

glad you love it. I was a bit worried about the quality of the video beecause I had to deal with the capture matter and the FPS in game.
hope its clean enough

I don't care as long as we get a Wildcat! My favorite naval fighter of all time. Especially in the early war paint scheme.

That was great I loved it.

I STILL think I will find it easy. I love the rolling Carrier. I would love it if the Carrier would actualy rise up and down in the swells (I hope it will, it seems to in the Seafire video, more pronounced would be better) rather than rock back and forth.

Nice dedication too. S!

Thank you.

Do you mean that in higher sea states the up and down movement is even more pronounced?

Merlin (FZG_Immel)

I mean the video doesnt show how the extremity of the deck can move up and down. I'm not authorized to say more.

Thanks Merlin. I like the way you say "I'm not authorized to say more." In other words, yes you can get motion induced sickness on a carrier, even in a Sim. Heck, lot's of folks think big Carriers don't move much. I remember the "Connie" in the Indian Ocean, the bow rose up something like fifty feet and then plunged the same distance into the oncoming swells. EVERYBODY on the boat was puking. It's been a long time but if I remember right it was a "Tiger" cruise and the civilians were miserable. LOL. All the best, LongHorn

Great movie!
I can already tell that it's gonna take me 2 years to learn to land on a carrier, than another 7 to get stormy weather traps down...

Yeah, Ubi really did screw the Lock-On developers. I believe they're only authorized to release one more patch and then that's it.

I got Lock-On but i found that Il-2 kepy pulling me back. hmm, maybe it's time for a reinstall...and a new joystick...this joystick blows when it comes to lining up shots in any game....

Hey Merlin, thanks a lot buddy for all the extra time making these videos. I know it's a pain in the butt to do sometimes, but it really helps the excitement level.

Glad to see the flight deck pitching around also. thanks http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

don't worry guys. its more a pleasure than a trouble to do it, and THX a LOT for the encouragement.

The only thing I would like you to understand is the following: We could make more and more videos, with great music, and state of the art sequences + eye candy etc etc, and than really "help the exitement level"..

But remember that this is not our goal (the exitement level to increase). Of course, we will alwas make clips pleasant to watch, but we don't wanna advertise OUR videos. We only want you to have your own idea of the WIP .

our videos are there just to show you PF as it is and as it will be. Nothing less, nothing more.

Dont wanna see what happend in the past (with other sims, and see people not happy with what they bought because it does not reflect what the video were.

I hope you get the "idea".

S!

I understand exactly what you're saying and it's duly noted. I understand that PF is a WIP, and I don't think you are presenting PF as something that it's not. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
