Let me guess this has been discussed before.

But still I'm gonna post it anyway.

''See here the main ASSASSIN protagonist. This person will now take down this group of thugs with AK-47's. Thug respond: Everybody put your weapons away grab a stick fight the ASSASSIN (Assassin grabs gun and shoots at red barrel)

It doesn't feel look like an AC place, doesn't play like AC.

It's like people just want the AC name on every game

even name of AC is cool maybe that's why --- I really doubt there be any Assassin's creed for WWII for 3 reasons
1) there are too many games about that time ( WW II )
2) when guns come there is no more usage of Assassin's skills and hidden blades so it will be like Sniper games ...
3) Ubisoft currently working on other projects

Not that I want AC WW2, but here's two series to look at for people who say stealth + guns don't work: Splinter Cell, Metal Gear Solid

I concur,

Sam Fisher practically have AC moves (or vice versa) already from parkour, air assassinate, corner takedowns, whistles, knife / hth attacks, smoke bombs, alarms, carry & hide bodies, environmental attacks, electrical bombs, ledge kills, picklock, guns (AC has them), etc.

Even Wolfenstein tries to be stealthy in its latest games. AIs don't need to pull out sticks in close range, that's not what AC is about. Use ur combat knives like any Battlefield or CoD soldiers do.
