S! Found this on the LOMAC site, seems this might be why there have been no updates, the gang been busting their tails to finish for this.

June 10, 2004: Oleg Maddox to be at National European FlightSim Aviation Show

On the 19th-20th June 2004, Blackpool will play host to the biggest event of its kind in the UK, the National European FlightSim Aviation Show. Ubisoft will be there demonstrating Pacific Fighters with a very special guest: Oleg Maddox. Oleg will be around for all of the aviation show to demonstrate the brand new game to everyone and, of course, to answer any questions you may have. Make sure you turn up to be one of the very first people to see the game running!
Head over to the official web site to find out more about the event, get advance tickets or book a full holiday package.

So now i hope this will truly make all of you have some relief. hehe http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Excellent - please ask him where the hell Luthier has gone.. and why some of the modders are ready to quit the project.... in a nice, polite way ofcourse. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

You all know Heywooood loves the PF and all the people in it - but what gives exactly? http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

The positive thing about this is that PF still looks promising. UBI and Oleg won't want to be going around selling something that is about to go under.

Wouldn't do either of their reputations any good to be associated with a flop.

Well, I didn't like PF and I told UBI to stop the project immediatly. I also wrote an insultant and obscene letter to all the developers, threatening not to bless them in my death bed.

As result of this I received a postcard from Russia:

"Dear Mr. Duch Corvano:

Wee beg you don't denny us yore bendition in these hour off mourning. Wee only liv to wait that gloriosus day you'll pass away after givin us yore blessing. Wee wont make PF no mor, and wee will change all da things you ask in FB, like muscle flaxes and AI vanishin after land. Wee will make even a Spanisch Cybill War adon for FB. Comfort us, o Dux."

I think that explains it all. Please, leave the forum in alphabetical order.

Last time I saw Luthier...it was in some pictures with some hot looking babes in leather and fishnet stockings somewhere called E-3 or something... he's been gone ever since... hmmmm and we all think he's working real hard http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/88.gif
