View Full Version : Bf109: The best it's ever been?

Seems to me the 109s are better and more realistic now than ever. In AEP, either the DMs are tougher or the ammo is weaker, so the 109 is definately a benefactor.

They were frail in 1.22 for sure. I think the only problem with them as I see, is the prop pitch exploit giving some false performance.

However, considering planes like the Ki84, that isn't too bad at all. I'm glad this important fighter has finally been given its "props".

most realistic ever ? yes IMHO

but the best its ever been &gt;? NO

FB v1.0 had a UBER K4

The K-4 is still very good! Flown properly it is probably the most survivable prop in FB. La-7's and Ki-84's cannot match the dive and zoom capabilites of the K-4. With a climbrate of 28.6m/sec even at 4000m it can dominate any fight.
