Hello Uplay gamers,

Our December update is now live and we’ve got the release notes for you right here! In today’s update we’ve added some quality of life features that you have suggested and fixed various bugs that you might have stumbled upon.

You will now be asked if you want to keep your games when uninstalling Uplay.

Changes in this release:

Added an option to keep installed games when uninstalling the Uplay client
Improved client patch notification flow. It is now possible to postpone applying a new patch until launching a game
Uplay will now remember the last active sub-section if “Games” is selected as default starting page (Eg. My Games, Installed, Free Games etc.)
Moved “Activate Product” button from top of the News page and Games page, it can now be found next to the “Friends” Icon
Improved the “Activate Product” window. It now contains a little bit more information regarding the activation codes

Bug Fixes:

Fixed an issue that sometimes prevented games from automatically downloading and installing the latest patch
Fixed an issue where VoIP volume settings would sometimes reset to 0 when restarting the Uplay client
Fixed an issue that occasionally disabled party options for some users while they were already in a party
Fixed several issues in which a controller would not function as displayed
Minor localization fixes
Additional minor bug fixes

I know this may be a long shot, but PLEASE consider adding an in-game web browser to Uplay, similar to Steam's and Origin's internet browser. It really makes it easier to search for walkthroughs, hints, etc., without the need to alt+tab.
