Tag Alles,
My family doesn't like to talk about WW2 due to our heavy family losses and many of those that did know a lot have passed away http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-sad.gif. My father has told me that my unckle, Karl Friedrich Pueschel( Pueschel spelt "u" mit Umlaut)flew and died in a Me109. That's all I know. Obviously Uncle Karl wasn't an ace as I've had difficulty finding any info at all. I am also limited in search due to my poor German. Mein Deutsch ist nichts so gut. If any one could help me it would be greatly appreciated. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Vielen Dank,
Fritz

Thx Herzam,
He wasn't in the list but the list didn't include those who scored under 10 kills. Can you imagine how long that list would be. Thx again. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Fritz, you should try this site :

http://tonywood.cjb.net/

It has listings of almost all, if not all German fighter kill claims, by pilot. If you copy it into an excell table (use the MS Word version), than you can very quickly find out if your uncle`s had kill claims. If you find his name, you will also find his unit, etc. Good for a start.

Good luck !

Thx Kurfurst,
I tried to open it but couldn't. Possibly because I live in Asia. I'll keep trying. Thx again http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Sorry Fehler,
I don't know where he flew. I've asked my father to press the family for more info. Thx for checking the list though, I really appreciate it http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif. So far my search tells me he never had many kills, if any. Makes me wonder how many guys had the same fate as him.
