I read about this somewhere.
it's main principle is actually a "radar" that gives a ring or a horn of somekind when you have something on your tail. I know it WAS in some P 38 but was it in anny of ourse? because I'd love to see this as a bonus wich you can turn on/off http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

It is, however, visible on the lower starboard (right for you land lubbers) tail fin of the P-38L in AEP. It should also be present on the tail of the late model P-51D, but I haven't played with that one yet.
