View Full Version : Screen Tearing

11-21-2015, 03:43 AM
I am wondering if anyone else is having problems with screen tearing in the game. I am currently running the game on a ATI 7970/ R9 280x. Everything else seems to be running smoothly, but there is excessive screen tearing. I have changed multiple settings, AA on/off, V sync (in game and always on through catalyst) and nothing seems to work. Turning V sync decreases the tearing a bit, but it is still present.

Any help/ tips/ suggestions would be much appreciated.

Sorry to hear that you're experiencing this. My first suggestion would be to update the drivers for your Graphics Card, this may resolve the issue. If that doesn't fix it could you update the thread with the Dxdiag from your system? This will give us a better idea what you're working with, and why you're getting the tearing.

I also get screen tearing in this game, and i have a G-Sync Monitor, that should eliminate this completly, adding DXDiag Info.

Thank you for updating with your Dxdiag. Both look more than capable to handle Syndicate, and the drivers look up to date. I'd seriously suggest contacting Ubisoft Support (https://support.ubi.com/en-US/index), they should know more about this issue and can give you more in-depth support.
