Launch day is upon us, and after another weekend on the beta Team MP is looking forward to squad up and take down some terrorists.
Ok, so the open beta still had server issues and connection problems. But in Ubisoft we trust, they will have this running smooth in no time.

Team MP is still open for recruitment. We have had plenty of great new members join recently and lots of excitement for this title.
Join us at teammp.net and register. Tell us a little bit about yourself, share your gamertag, and squad up.

See you in game

It's feeling a lot like Christmas Eve today! My kids and I are changing roles as I so anxiously look forward to the launch of this game, while they look at me like I am insane for being this excited about a game. Heh!

Come join up with Team MP for some great times playing R6 with some like-minded parent gamers!

You ever dream of being in a gaming clan but find that parenting has done a number on your responsiveness (due to sleep depravity no doubt), so your KDR sucks. Well me too!!!

Whether your gaming skills are awesome, terrible, or non-existent...Team MP would love to have you. Our goal is to provide a fun escape for parents to enjoy gaming with a group of like-minded gamers; absent the 13-year olds with potty mouths that could make a sailor blush. ;-)

Come join Team MP (http://www.teammp.net/VB_TeamMP/showthread.php?4117-*-*-*-Post-Your-Introduction-Here!-*-*-*) and help carry our sorry backsides to victory!
We win some, we lose some (many), but most importantly we enjoy a good laugh in a friendly community of parent gamers.

We are still recruiting across all platforms, and hope that R6:S carries on strong after The Division launches in 8 days.

Hope to see you in game and on the forums soon.

Need some friendly company by your side on Terrorist Hunt or on Multiplayer?
Join Team MP (http://www.teammp.net/VB_TeamMP/showthread.php?4117-*-*-*-Post-Your-Introduction-Here!-*-*-*) today.
We are a laid back community of Parent Gamers that realise the limitations that being a Mum or Dad can put on your game time.
If you need to drop out of a match because your kids woke up or your thumbs don't give you that killer instinct you had years ago, then you will be in good company.

Not all of our members have jumped ship to play The Division, but the ones playing R6:S are starting to feel a little lonely.
Sure, we will all pile back in once more DLC drops, and when the 'new smell' has worn off The Division. But come over and join up, you won't regret it. (Apart from if I accidentally TK you!)

See you out there.

We at Team MP love a good War Story in our forums.
And the latest classic example is from one of our finest, Grrowl. If his aim was as brilliant as his story telling, he would be deadly! ;)

Check it out and more over at teammp.net
We have dedicated forums for all Clancy titles, and still enjoy a good laugh trying to steal a win on R6:S.

Please stop by, register, add your tag to the lists and get adding the masses of MPs across all Platforms...

See you out there.

Over to you Grrowl (Some images may not be SFW)

Ok, snuck a few rounds in yesterday afternoon. First, a somewhat bewildering round of TH with a full mic team of Dutch people. Played with two of them before, fun guys. But this time I think they forgot about me, so I felt a little bit like the fifth wheel.
My aim was off too, so I was kind of relieved to get an invite from an english speaking R6 friend I made when this game was fresh out of the barn. This guy had since been taking his Rainbow action seriously, and had a k/d of 1.6. A few lucky rounds, he called it. I called ********, you rule. And he did too, maybe that's why he ditched me after killing it on two rounds of casual. I did alright though. At least by my standards. http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160718/0e8e3c44957b6a0a05e72f166561110e.jpg

Feeling confident, I decided to try my luck at a ranked match for my last of the evening, hoping my winning streak would continue, and maybe bring me a rank up before I had to surrender the ps4 to my teenage son. I should have guessed that karma had turned when two rounds in, Major asked to join. Should've stayed on casual.

Anyway, at 2-0 with 3 dogtags to my name I was feeling pretty confident. This is of course where everything falls apart.

In football (soccer to you culturally challenged people Over There ;)) the commentators sometimes speak of "the dangerous two-nil lead", because it somehow makes the leaders drop their guard, thinking the game's already won. It's safe to say a few of my teammates will find themselves in said description.

I keep telling people - when on defense, even at 3 vs 1, don't - I repeat DON'T go on a mad chase for that one kill. Wait for the scheming weasel to come scrambling when the clock's running out. Have you not ever seen a horror movie?
In which scary movie does the sentence "let's split up, we'll find him faster" or "I'll be right back" end happily? You don't find them in the Top Ten Famous Last Words List for nothing, you know! You can't just ignore generations of Hollywood drama!

Like, if you're 3 vs 1, you should see this from the other guy's point of view. He's like Bruce Willis up in Nakatomi Plaza, just rigging the place to blow up in your face the moment you set foot outside the safety of the objective room.
I mean, what's the point of a hostage if not to hide behind. I'm sure those arian german twins would have stayed with the bomb if they had another chance at it, instead of getting picked off one by one. And where does that leave me?

Well, let's see - what happened to Hans Gruber when he was left alone with Holly the Hostage in the sky bar up in ahundred-and-fiftyfirst floor? I guess he had time to think about things, falling to his death in center frame, wearing his best "Surprised Snape" face.
Incidentally, when roles are reversed - and I am the only attacker facing multiple enemies - I usually think more like I'm Butch Cassidy, only without Robert Redford and with the whole Bolivian army patiently waiting to drill me full of holes. Makes for a great kill cam though.
Lesson: Discuss amongst yourselves and devise a plan on how to be Batman.
GRRowl out.

All of my "best nights gaming" revolve around this crew. If you are curious, check us out...you won't regret it.

If you are a parent gamer, then feel free to come and say hello here (http://www.teammp.net/VB_TeamMP/showthread.php?4117-*-*-*-Post-Your-Introduction-Here!-*-*-*), also adding your gamertag to the active player lists. Most importantly adding all the members above you, and then you're good to go.

We have plenty of members enjoying Rainbow 6 Siege, with dedicated game nights taking place most weeks.
Only last night MPs had a great time playing both Ranked matches and Realistic Custom games.
So many laughs, many beers were had. All helps wash away a long week of work life and the usual family mayhem.

Hope to see you in game soon.

The doors at Team [MP] HQ are still wide open for new recruits.

As we look ahead into 2017, we have alot of members looking forward to try out the Ghost Recon Beta this weekend.
Also remembering to join anyone that may be trying the free R6:S trial this weeknd, we still have a core of members playing this on multiple platforms. Always guaranteed laughs.
The For Honor trial was well received last week, with plenty of members preordering.
The Division still has to be one of the most played games within the Team, with great groups of parents gamers hitting NYC every day.
We are loving Battlefield 1, Overwatch, CoD:IW, Ark:Survival, FIFA17, Steep and many many more amazing games.

Team MP celebrates it's 8th Birthday this weekend, starting the party with the game that was voted the #1 game of 2016 by our members.
Then moving into the weekend it's all down to the members to choose the games and party up, so why not join up and join in.
Put the kids to bed, grab a bottle of something and join us for plenty of laughs.
Don't worry if you can't get on mic or your skills aren't up to scratch, we just like to grab a game when we can.
So Happy Birthday to all our fellow Mamas & Papas.

Come join us here (http://www.teammp.net/VB_TeamMP/showthread.php?11804-Team-MPs-8th-Birthday-Weekend-Gaming-Extravangza!!!).

Join Team MP as we open our doors for recruitment at the begining of Red Orchid.
We are a friendly bunch enjoying whatever R6:S can throw our way, whether it be on Ranked, Casual or our hilarious Custom Brawls that happen most weekends when squad numbers allow.
As parent gamers we know the limitations that can arise during that valued game session, so we keep a very casual approach whilst keeping that competitive edge.
We have members of all standard so come and join us, playing across numerous time zones you are normally sure to find someone to squad up with.

Simply stop by here (http://www.teammp.net/VB_TeamMP/forumdisplay.php?396-*-*-*-Post-Your-Introduction-Here!-*-*-*) register, say hi and add all the MPs from the Active Players Lists.

See you in game.
