I would like to optimize the placement of buildings in the arctic zone. Have you layout advice?

I hope you mean Arctic, because the Tundra is DLC Stuff that is going to come in the Future.

My advice:
build in long rows with an industrial building in the middle to provide heat (expansions also provide heat) with two residential rows on each side.
Also, you don't need to go crazy with population in arctic. The resident provide just barely enough money to cover cost of production (quite the opposite on the moon, residents cannot cover cost of production, moon=money sink), so get enough manpower from residents for optimal production and then stop.

Your real money making comes from the temperate zone residents. A highly satisfied residential block of investors (final level) provides around 3000-3700 credits per minute. Multiply that by 20, and you have a good income.

In my opinion best idea is to start with far stretched roads and then start filling gaps with industry buildings and later with houses.

Sure looks good... Maybe I need to make alot of moving on my Arctic sectors!:eek:
