We here at Trials know you all have been waiting for more news on the upcoming update and today… WE GOT WHAT YOU NEED!!!

First let’s talk tracks… Let’s talk XSX tracks!

We’ve got a grand total of 7 new XSX tracks coming in a wide variety of flavors. 4 new extreme tracks, 2 new hard tracks, and 1 new medium track. Now don’t get too giddy, we’re only showing you two of those today. Gotta save some of that track sweetness for another time.

First up today we’ll show you the throwback track of the drop, X-Diabolic.

There’s just something about a warehouse full of planks and old tires that screams TRIALS! You might recognize this track from the Trials HD days and it has been faithfully recreated here to accommodate 8 players on that original extreme level drive line!

Next up we have Electric Avenue!

Solar panels and swimming pools and sweet flying saucers. Welcome to the future. This futuristic looking extreme has been built from the ground up for this title update so you and 7 friends (or enemies) can race through this all new housing complex.

While we’re talking tracks, let’s talk YOUR tracks. The Trials team has been hard at work on some fixes that will be bringing more custom tracks to the public multiplayer rotation! So get back to the workshop builders!

Now we’ve mentioned the new multiplayer seasons and that certainly seemed to get your attention so we’re going to drop some knowledge on you all right now.

We know how much you all enjoy some competition and multiplayer just isn’t enough to scratch that itch. So, we’re bringing you a multiplayer season with not only a separate leaderboard for each season but also a Hall of Fame leaderboard that will track the combined results of all seasons. This new Hall of Fame leaderboard can be sorted by the overall score of all seasons combined or the best score in any individual season past.

Now, in order to show on the leaderboard, you must complete 20 matches of multiplayer first. Also, at the end of the season players will be rewarded with some sweet nuts. You know, Acorns. The Acorn rewards are going to vary by how well you placed in that season with more levels than just the three tiers we have in Tournaments.

*Dates & reward values are placeholder and do not represent final dates or rewards

That’s about it for right now. We’ll share some more info soon so keep an eye on the forums (http://forums.ubi.com/forumdisplay.php/711-News), Twitter (https://twitter.com/TrialsGames), Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/trials.official), Myspace, Friendster, AIM Instant Messenger…….

Once again, looking foward to to the ability to compete for acorns in multiplayer, hopefully it will draw more people towards the multiplayer aspect. Also, willing to give a general idea of how long a season is going to be?

EDIT: Maps look cool too. Like the amount of new extremes, too many easy tracks in multiplayer.

We haven't made a final decision but right now we are looking at month long seasons. Of course if anybody here has any feelings about how long they'd like seasons to be we are always interested in your feedback.

if you wanna keep it active, it should probably be short seasons so people keep playing multiplayer. :)

Edit* maybe make people lose score if they are inactive for a few days if they are top 10% or something, that should keep people plaiyng :)

Yeah no more than 1 month is good enough. If shorter, even better. 3 weeks I would say. Let's hope this will bring more people to the mp, I gotta admit its been ages since I've been there so this will bring me back. The new update is looking good, looking forward to the country LB.
