Thats stupid. There are 8 or 9 sequences and after you complete the "tutorial"/"introduction" missions, two of sequences are already completed. WTF? :nonchalance:

The rest sequences have 4-7 missions in each, here's a link to missino breakdown (http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/1303768-*SPOILERS*-Main-story-mission-number-and-how-they-re-separated-between-twins) (how many are there and how they're divided between twins)

The rest sequences have 4-7 missions in each (7 in Seq3-5, 5 missions in Seq6, 6 missions in Seq7, and 4 missions in Seq8 and 9).
Thats right, but previous games had 3-5 missions in ALL sequences.
I mean, in the new game we get less story missions to play. Thats bad.
I have read some reviews before buying this games, and in most of them they said that this game takes 20 hours to copmplete the main story. How is that possible if we already finish the first two sequences in one hour?

Well, first, you have 42 missions on the main path that you have to complete in Syndicate, that's about the same amount of missions as AC4 and AC3.

That said, mission number and amount of sequences does not corelate to playtime, or how meaty the missions are in the first place. For example, first sequence of AC2 has got 12 missions, right? But those missions are so short. Let's look at the first several missions of AC2:
1. Fight on the bridge.
2. Follow brother to a doctor
3. Climb a viewpoint
4. Go from point A to point B, and escape.

These are four missions. Now let's look at the first Havana mission in AC4: follow Bonnet to a store, climb a viewpoint, chase a thief, go to tavern, fight in tavern, escape. You may notice that the actions are pretty much the same, but it's all done in one mission.

Amount of missions or sequences doesn't show how 'meaty' they are.

And even one goal, like infiltrate a place to kill a target, may vary greatly in how meaty it is, how expansive the area is, etc, and therefore change playtime.

This is true!
