View Full Version : AC Unity: how do I unlock these?

At the beginning of the game, you start a short story with the very first guy (top left) and all the others are locked. So I'm wondering, how do I unlock them, and when they are unlocked, when can I play them? I really wanna see these.

Why not? Can you explain why?

It's kind of a joke.

They are nods to other games in the series or possible future games, but where the Templars win maybe (?)...

'Murder in the Levant' = Assassin's Creed I
Triumph of the Borgias' = Assassin's Creed II'
'Washington and the Wolf' = Assassin's Creed II
'Devils of the Carribean' = Assassin's Creed IV

and others...

Trust me dude, there was a GIGANTIC backlash here when it was discovered that these weren't actually missions. Because it IS misleading as all hell.

Might've been a joke on their part, for big fans it felt like a huge middle finger.

Didn't say it was a good joke... :)

Yes I was confused momentarily.
It was only when trying and failing to open the other, frankly more attractive options, that you realise you are being trolled.

It was not a good start frankly.

TBH that would be a good direction to take the game... use the helix to jump from era to era.

They owe us. :p

This is honestly my biggest beef with Unity. There's no way that this specific screenshot- of what looked to be an incredibly awesome feature for long time fans to revisit characters of games past in new situations, as well as some new characters in intriguing settings- was leaked on accident. I have no doubt that Ubisoft (who I almost always support) leaked this photo months ahead of launch with the sole intention of misleading us.

They should have, at least, played a trailer for the old games when clicked on them...something.

Cmon Ubi,
