S! Oleg!

I've read a few accounts of the reasons you are going to charge for all new updates. Before I say anything else I want to say that I don't mind paying for planes. I think you deserve whatever cash you make.

That said, I can't help but think how silly some of the hurt feelings that people get over this whole thing are. I mean - who cares if some pimple-faced 14 year-old thinks the BF109e climbs just a smat faster than it should? In my opinion rational FM debates are healthy for the community. There unfortunately are lots of unrational FM 'flames' that get far more attention than they deserve. These flames detract not only from the perception of appreciation you see on the boards, but also from the RATIONAL flight model debates that forward our hobby.

You are a programmer and currently the best one servicing our hobby. You have personally raised the bar other flight sims are measured against. Frankly, all of the other flight sim teams out there are chasing you.

I don't want you to think that the comments of a very vocal few really represent the way the community-at-large think of you and your flight sims. The vast majority of us out here think that FB is the best thing since sliced bread and think that FB will continue to be the best until your upcoming 'Battle of Britian' is released.

Please accept this humble 'thank you' from a satisfied fan.

Well said. I for one watch the boards daily, but seldom post. Usually I post just to tell someone to quit whining! It's good that appreciation is shown to the creator of this game, and his team. On behalf of the 352nd online squad, we're all very satisfied with this game, love it dearly, and look forward to anything Oleg will put out in the future.

Is this the same 352nd FG located at http://www.352ndfg.com/ ? If not you are certainly not the first 352nd FG in FB. They been kicking around since CFS 1 and probably before that.

To the third post.....QUIT WHINING! The game is supposed to be fun. GAME=FUN. Jeez, no wonder Oleg got fed up. Try flying and having fun, and quit being so nit picky about details! If you want realistic flying, go fly a real live airplane!

To AAA, the sign says "first in FB," which we are. I'm sure the "other"352nd has been around for a while, they sure seem to be well structured. Our group came over from CFS2 (yuck) where we flew under a different squad name. Researched FB squads, 352nd wasn't taken. At any rate, it's an online squadron, it's for FUN. I'm sure the other 352nd is mature enough to realize that. We have no problems with anyone else that wants to fly under the 352nd banner, it's a very honorable recognition of a very fine fighting unit.

And, just to reinterate the original line of this string, THANKS OLEG FOR A GREAT GAME! Keep up the great work, you're light years ahead of the competition.

I guess everybody in this forum loves this sim, otherwise they wouldn't be here.
I love it, too!
But what's so wrong with constructive criticism?
Why do you throw "whining" and idiotic posts in the same pot with constructive criticism?

What's so wrong in pointing out some failures in the game and asking for fixes?

I don't get it.

Example: FW 190 cockpit view.
To say that it's a minor issue that can be ignored and that Cirx & Co "should quit whining" is more than ignorant...it's a shame.

Example2: I have asked to fix the texture problem with the dead pilots ( dead pilot with his two heads, one on the corpse and the other severed from his body just behind him...) and to fix the "improved AI ground handling", 'cause I don't like to see disappearing aircraft on the ground.
What's wrong with that ? Where is the problem in such a comment ?

To call everybody who researches for evidence about several strange issues "a 14 year old kid" is even more ignorant.

Just quit saying "Quit whining" and "Just play the game"
Ban all forum members who post real insults and idiotic posts, delete every irrelevant topic and see what's left. Lots of constructive criticism and good conversations.

Regards, Sven

S! Sven!

I also said that rational debates are healthy. I didn't call those who give constructive criticism '14 year-old pimple-faced kids.' That applied to those who flame - not those who debate. I think we all know the difference.

Apologies Guns if my post seemed a little harsh, that was not the intent. Just thought you should know about the other group. I have been flying for and against them for quite a few years and have found them to be of the highest calibre.

If your interested in great scenario missions you should look them up.

Good luck with your outfit, the website looks great!

Typical
When I first started reading this post I was happy to see 2 members saying what most all feel about this game and giving Oleg a thumbs up. I was about to reply with a "hear hear, well said" as any other form of reply never entered my mind. It`s clearly a thank you thread but then someone goes off-topic and just has to get his moan in again.
If we check the forums I wonder how many of their posts are actually about anything else but moaning.
I`m not saying that critism is`nt a good thing and yes,u saw the climb thing and reacted but isnt this, hasn`t this being debated elsewhere, about suggested BF fall-backs? I`m sure theres a thread or 2 somewhere, guys ,cmon, this thread was not the place to start one.
Thx Oleg we love it and well said wall dog and pe c.
