View Full Version : PC Uplay season pass doesnt work!

So i bought the season pass for far cry 4 since its on sale and activated it in uplay but i own far cry on steam, all my dlc show up in uplay but when i launch my game nothing shows up. i tried activating the same product key on steam but it doesnt work.

if you buy the game on Steam you have to buy all your DLC from Steam
it works that way because Steam uses a different method of Delivering DLC and updates then the Stand alone Uplay Only version of the game works

Since you did not buy the DLC on Steam they do not provide the files for it

same if i were to Install the DVD version of Far Cry 3 or 4 (which is the Uplay only version ) and then expect Steam to give me patches and UPDATES .. they don't ..as they do not see the items in my Steam account ..........since i did not Purchase the content from Them

if you purchased the Season Pass for the Uplay only version i think your only recourse is contact the retailer you bought the Season Pass from and seek a refund ..then Purchase the season pass at the same outlet you purchased the BASE game from .. STEAM
