Isn`t it annoying sometimes when you go on HL and join a new coop. The host tells you that this will be hard and you and your guys will need to take off fast. Fine, ok, we`ll all take off fast, going either side...

The mission begins... 3,2,1...

You power up your engines, already bits start flying! What the?! I`m the leader so I do a fast start with flaps and I`m in the air 2 110s shoot past over my left shoulder! I type `SIX`, knowing already that it`s too late.

Moments later I`m shot down in flames and everyone else below is decimated by numerous 110s and I think, a Stuka with a 1000LB bomb (I think it was that big anyway).

At times like this, I just think the Host never tested his coop mission for the Allied side, or maybe he just set us all up for an easy slaughter... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

Anyone else ever felt like they`ve been set up in a coop?

not in coop, but once I joined a server with only 2 players on and I Thought I'll try to fight these 2 while waiting for some more players to join.
So there I sat in my 109, searching for 2 La7's. Finally some people joined, but not my team. Well...now I was looking out for 3 La7 and 2 yak3.....dandy I thought.

I tried to stay near clouds for protection.
Yet another player joined and went on their side.
As always in similar situations I wrote; "we could use one more on blue...". I eventually had to bail from my badly stricken plane and noticed that my opponents were squadmates......hehe.

There was no point in continuing the session so I went on GG instead.

Yup seen the same thing...

One co-op had us being attacked by the other team already airborne within a minute of game start. The kicker was that we were jets and we had to try and scramble under those conditions...I was the only one to make it up and escape...everyone else was roasted.

Playbalancing...playbalancing...

Yea. Play balancing.. My first suspicions came on just HOW HARD it might be when I noticed the Host go the LW side. If a Host tells you that the side you`re on will be hard and HE goes on the easier side, y`know somethings wrong...

Kozhedub: In combat potential, the Yak-3, La-7 and La-9 fighters were indisputably superior to the Bf-109s and Fw-190s. But, as they say, no matter how good the violin may be, much depends on the violinist. I always felt respect for an enemy pilot whose plane I failed to down.
