Hey all,

I don't have options for the V-1 in the FMB. I haven't for some time, and just ignored it. But I actually want to experiment with it now, and don't have it. How can I fix this?

In addtion, I do not have th Catalina as an option in the QMB. I do have it in the FMB. How do I get it in there?

Also, someone mentioned flying the B-25 on the desert map. I know that this isn't flyable, but all planes are flyable online (even though you can't get in the cockpit). How do I go about flying the B-25? I don't care about the cockpit, I just want to fire those guns for a few minutes! Please help.

Thanks in advance.

Its because the QMB does not contain any of the float planes. You have to set them up using the FMB http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

"As weaponry, both were good, but in far different ways from each other. In a nutshell, I describe it this way: if the FW 190 was a sabre, the 109 was a florett, or foil, like that used in the precision art of fencing." - Gunther Rall

Look Noobie, we already told you, we don't have the Patch!

Floatplanes aren't in QMB due to the nature of their landing style. You can select them in FMB, though.

The V-1 should be under "Rockets" in FMB under the object selection menu.

To fly the B-25s online over a dogfight server, create a basic mission with airbases on it. Make it allied vs. axis, so you know where the planes are. Make it only a couple bases, or you might have trouble later on.

Now save the mission, then exit FB. Open notepad and find the mission you made in the FB folder. Once you find the name of it, open up the file that has the ".mis" extention.

Look for the "bornplace" flags, and find your allied planes. Put the following at the top of the list, just under "bornplace":

B-25C-25NA
B-25G-1NA
B-25H-1NA
B-25J-1NA

Now save the file and restart FB. Go to multiplayer, host your own game, make it a dogfight. Find the mission you created and load it up. Go to the field that you put allied planes on. Under arming, you should find B-25s. HOWEVER, to fly the B-25s you must first select a plane already with a cockpit and fly it - just select the plane, click fly, esc and refly. Then select one of the B-25s. All done!

Use FMB make a map for V1's

Here's a mission file to fly all AI planes (not fully tested yet)...

http://members.home.nl/lil.labbit/Med1.mis

Place it in FB/Missions/Net/Dogfight/1/

You will then have a Med1 mission.
To run it off-line do a Multiplay - Create Server - set dogfight - then select it...

FIRST fly a normal plane (sitting in cockpit is enough), then Esc - Refly - select AI plane & arm - fly

Press any external view key (F8 for instance) to see the plane you fly. No cockpit for AI's - sorry http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif
