I was working both days and couldn't get to the Hangar at 1:00pm. I was at the Main Gate all day Friday from 6:30am till 9:00pm. Saturday I was at the Exit gate in the rain from 7:00am to 7:30pm. And Sunday at the Ramp Gate helping the Major direct traffic. All I had for time off all 3 days was 2 hours to get what pictures I could, which was few. All in all, even with the poor weather I had a great time.

If you've never been to the show, you need to reserve that weekend for sites you can't imagine.

If anyone has a photo of the A-10 and P-51 flying formation could you please post it. I saw them and need a copy if possible. Thanks. ~S!~

Thanks Pielkop, I appreciate it. Standing in the middle of traffic at the Ramp Gate Sunday wasn't condusive to carrying a camera and trying not to get runover. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

BTW, did anyone get inside the B29 and get any interior pictures.

These are the ones I need. If you'd like, send them in a zip file by email. GaryTurk182@cs.com

1. Inside Tail Gunners position... probably not possible to get by anyone

2. Detail of the top gunners controls and switch panel

3. The computing sight head of the Side Gunners

4. The navagator's position including his radar scope and radar box controls

5. The same in the radar operator's station which is behind the gunner's compartment

6. Closeups of the bombsite, bubbles on the sitehead gyro as well as the leveling knobs on the left of the sitehead

7. The radar altimeter which is on the floor near bombardier's right leg

8. Location of the outside air temp guage on lower left of plexiglass nose

If no one has these.... don't worry. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
