Ok, Im bored, so i thought id start one of these kinda threads.

What is the absolute dumbest, gauranteed to get you killed thing that you can do in FB?

Id say going headon with a 190 or P47 or something of that sort...Either that or playing chicken with a building...

Your thoughts?

I'd say, go slow, have someone on your six, and pull on the stick, and hang in the air with the entire outline of your plane hanging there, and wait to get shot.

This one gets my vote because I can't resist it, even though I know what's gonna happen:

When you spawn close to one end of the strip in something that needs the full runway length to get airborne, and the noise of vulching enemy is all around - I just can't help turning for the shorter take off run, even though I know I'm gonna crash...

Fly a Yak-3..

Russian aircraft require skill to fly.
German aircraft require ten times that skill, and one hundred times the patience!

Use a TB-3 as a fighter against Me 109s...

The propellor is just a big fan to keep the pilot cool.. when it stops you can see
the pilot start sweating!

A good landing is one you can walk away from...A great landing is one where they can use the plane again afterwards!!!

Not wishing to doubt the legendary status of the tutor, but this has to be the REAL legendary plane of UK air cadets:

The De-Havilland Chipmunk; discontinued, presumably, due to its habit of ending up in cabbage patches.

Try going vertical with a Zero while flying a P-40 (one of those lovely "Fangs through the Floorboards" moments) -- this is why don't jump right in to Il-2 after flying an F-15 in SF:P1.
