can it be made in bob that friendly AAA stop shooting enemy plane when own fighter gets near targeted enemy plane, lets say bout 300m bubble.when own plane as close as 300m of enemy, own flak will not try to shoot it down. it would really be something. at least in western countries own AAA did care about own pilots http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Top Mustang Ace George Preddy was killed Christmas day 1944 by friendly 0.50 AA shooting a German plane he was chasing. He got it right in the heart, but his Mustang landed perfect. Did real life AA crews have orders to stop shooting when friendly aircraft were near? I don't think so. Friendly fire killed many friendly aircraft .

Who would give the order NOT to fire....?

(1) Ground commanders? I don't think so.
(2) Air commanders? Wouldn't they love to? http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

And another thing. /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif How does AA know when enemy is *targeted* by friendly? Maybe friendly is flying close to enemy but is empty of ammo and flying home. How does AA know? This is not Good. Worse it is a Bad thing. The Whining and Pulling of Teeth if friendly aircraft seek protection of friendly airfield AA but the AA don't fire. Me~163 Komet and Me~262 are two good hysterical examples of aircraft seeking AA protection at landing.

Also, if I were AA I would not let my life or my buddies on the ground depend on some hot shot Noob fighter pilot. Disgusting even to think about it.

Worse is that often AA could not identify correctly or did not wait to identify the target aircraft. Be Happy that Oleg does not program random AA friendly fire us against simmers, although I would support Oleg programming that in as it would be very immersive and makes you think a little more about WAR.

About the random Flak: just imagine, you appear on the field, check gauges and suddenly the big bad 88mm gun turns and shoots at ya.. BOOOOOM!!!/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Some things are worth fighting for...
And most of them wear mini skirts.
