If I buy this hardware will it slow my fps down a lot?

I have AMD 64 3200+ and Radeon 9800 Pro. Thanks!

IMO it does not have a noticable effect on fps. Maybe 1 or 2 but I can't relly tell

No change in frame rates when enabled/ disabled.

Why should TrackIR effect your fps rate? It never did. It's just a second mouse so to speak and i guess your mouse doesn't effect your fps rate either heh? http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif.

Yes, it can affect frames/sec.

A while back, I had noticed the frame rate jump after occluding the tracker(5-8 fps). I then confirmed this with the Black death track.

The problem turned out to be related to the usb plug, I swithed usb plugs and the frame rate change became insignificant. (1-2 fps)

Im not experten to tell your why the conflict was present, but it certainly can happen.

This was with Trackir 1.

Widegeon what does this mean: A while back, I had noticed the frame rate jump after occluding the tracker(5-8 fps). I then confirmed this with the Black death track.

"black death" is one of the tracks you can watch in game.

It is very video intensive so people use it as a benchmark.

Is this file already in the replay folder, or do I have to download the replay from somewhere?

Just a thought. Anybody have a gyro mouse? Mount it on a hat and see if it will work like track ir. Hit your joystick hat if it comes off center and it should center back up. Just a thought. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

The track is already in the game. Watch the rest of the tracks while you are there, some are cool and some are informative.
