Whats the little plane-shaped needle on the heading indicator? It jitters around all the time.

Hehehe,that's a piece of art when it comes to navigation . It simply points to the next waypoint on yer route. I don't know how realistic is that since is hard to believe that germans had beacons for every waypoint.If you ask me, the one in the IARs is the most realistic since is always pointing to the base.Now,for bombers that's OK since you lack a navigator and this compensate the lack of one,but for fighters?Have no idea.

Maybe they had a highly advanced punch card system to program the airplanes with its flight plan.
