Notes on Flickering Airfields

If you experience flickering airfields when viewed from high altitude, try the
following to fix the issue.
Open the conf.ini file and add the two following lines into the OpenGL section
there (or modify the existing ones):

[Render_OpenGL]
PolygonOffsetFactor=-0.15
PolygonOffsetUnits=-3.0
==============================================

Do I have to add "TexFlags." to these:

PolygonOffsetFactor=-0.15
PolygonOffsetUnits=-3.0

Like this:

TexFlags.PolygonOffsetFactor=-0.15
TexFlags.PolygonOffsetUnits=-3.0

This fix has been around since 2.01, the problem being at over 3000m the airfields texture is messed up if you use a GeForce graphics card. I applied the fix weeks ago. It stops the worst of the flickering seen with my ti4600.

Since none want to post about this I finaly answer it myself for others who are confused by the readme and the way some things are writen in the conf.

I belive that you enter this in the conf.ini

PolygonOffsetFactor=-0.15
PolygonOffsetUnits=-3.0

Not this

TexFlags.PolygonOffsetFactor=-0.15
TexFlags.PolygonOffsetUnits=-3.0
