Very profound and thought-provocing pic. Made me think about things for a while. Maybe you could ad some effects to make it look as realistic as possible, just an idea though.

Very pretty.

I personally would prefer it if the 'camera' was a bit closer to the subject (or vice versa)

Others may disagree though.

Yes, a little closer and also put the IL2 slightly to the left or right of the pic. I know it sounds strange, but putting the main subject to the side (or perhaps the sun) does actually have a better effect of `drawing` the eye `in`.

Nice anyway.

Question: did you tak the screenshot with Printscreen, or did you use Fraps? It looks like the former to me, I suggest using Fraps; you get better, clearer screenies that way http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Hint: Draw two imaginary horizontal lines that equally divide the picture area by three parts, next draw two imaginary vertical lines that also divide the picture area equally. You'll get 4 intersections.

Now all you have to do is put the main object of interest in one of the intersection.

It's called Rule of Third composition.

True that so many of us tend to put main object(s) of interest right in the middle of the picture area. While there's nothing wrong with it, it gives a "static" look. I think anyone with photography or painting background will understand this.

Anyway, I'm interested in posting some of my screenshots in here but i dont know how. Can anybody help me with this?

If u have any photo editing tool
like photoshop or paintshop

U can ad some "contrast" and the next thing u can try to add or reduce is "saturation"

These two combined can make wonders for screenies.
also u may want to check the screenshots at :

That is a very nice screenie.

I just have to say one thing about the title though! "Homeward Bound"

If you have ever played VOW, you would know that the title would be "Battle Bound"! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/52.gif

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Thanks to everyone for the comments.

TO:
Sam_the_greek: "Very profound and thought-provocing pic." Thank you. That was the impression I wanted to make.

Extreme_One: I wanted to give a sense of isolation. This was taken as I returned home from an intense mission. I was the only survivor. Good point however.

SeaFireIV: Another good point. I'm just learning the craft. Thanks.

DD_NL: Yes it's a Printscreen. I haven't played with FRAPS much. I know it's a good capture tool for movie making. I'll give it a try for screenshots. Thanks for the idea.

Aero_Shodanjo: Try Photobucket. Free web hosting plus they give you the code needed to post on the Ubi Forums. Here's a link:

http://www.photobucket.com/

F19_Ob: I have PaintShop Pro 8. that's how I edited out the Hud log and gave it it's dimensions. I tried reducing the saturation but it looked to washed out to me. Contrast I could play with some more. Thanks.

PF_Coastie: See response to Extreme_One. "Sorry, I couldn't resist." That's OK.

Again thanks for your comments. I really meant to post this in "High Resolution Screens" but posted here accidently. I got no resonse from my first post on the HRS thread so this accident has proved much more informative.
I appreciate everyone taking a moment to comment. It will help me improve my screenshot taking.
