Cesare didn't as far as I know. Giovanni Borgia did, and he was the (potential) illegitimate son of Cesare (also an assassin). Giovanni had visions of Brutus' life and relived his memories; may make for a good opening to the game.

That's a good point.

I always forget that it's unknown about Giovanni's father because I always think of Perroto saving his assumed child with the shroud.

I would love any Project Legacy scenes or storylines to feature in Syndicate.

Project Legacy could feature actually very nicely with Syndicate. Not only could Ubi half-revive Legacy as a temporary fix after what happened, but it could also allow for some pretty awesome backstory and extra missions for the game, setting the scene for what could come and linking Syndicate to previous AC titles, specifically the Ezio cycle, as i mentioned in another thread. It seems that most of Legacy revolves around the people related to the Shroud's history; maybe this is some magnificent form of foreshadowing? I think it is definitely something which could be linked in. The only thing that could make this a problem is by having the same issue as AC3 with too much story before getting to the main assassin the game is about (i know this got mixed reactions when focusing too much on Hatham), but i reckon it could be pulled off. Heck, they've got rid of MP and co-op, they've got all this room to play with! Use it!

Completely agree!

Hopefully Syndicate has a real push on the Lore and First Civ elements!
