Great ,anyone tried them yet ?

I had poblems with the 3.10 drivers so I need to know if they are an improvement or not before I spend 2 hours downloading .

Hi Resev .
i'v been lurking around ,mostly on the movie forum picking up tips for my movies .

Working at night takes up most of my net time aswell because logging on during the day time is way expensive over here .

cheers mate .

So far 4.2's are just great! Awesome FPS increase in both LOMAC and FB.

Hmmm...
I've read some threads over at the technical page that some users have experienced a drop in frame rates with the new cats. Anyone else got the same problems?

I am going to try them this evening.

I never go after other people's stories.

I have to see for myself first in order to judge things.

To be honest I can see no difference between the 3.2 and 4.2 drivers .
No signifacant increase in benchmark scores .

I'm sure there probably is an improvement in something but the official site gives no details on what the fixes are .

People often delude themselves with FPS increases with new drivers. Its not the drivers that are making the difference, its resetting the driver graphic settings by uninstalling and reinstalling that changes FPS. You can get the same effect by going into ATI ctrl panel and changing the 3D settings back to default settings.
