depending on your engineering and piloting skills, it may cost you your life http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_redface.gif

Actually it probably wouldn't be that much. The most expensive part of that plane would probably be the engine. A friend of mine living in Southern Illinois built a Great Lakes Bipe from a set of plans he bought off the internet about a year ago. It actually build up pretty quick. He had it checked out and it was deemed flight worthy but he chickened out on flying something that he built himself. Its still sitting in his brother's barn.

If you search russia for those, might not cost you whole alot. Couple a years ago i saw PzIII Tank in drivable condition @ebay for 100k =D Some dude from Kiev was selling it. The only thing is not original on that tank was wooden gun http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Kozhedub: In combat potential, the Yak-3, La-7 and La-9 fighters were indisputably superior to the Bf-109s and Fw-190s. But, as they say, no matter how good the violin may be, much depends on the violinist. I always felt respect for an enemy pilot whose plane I failed to down.

What's the fun in that?
If I buy a tank, I might as well have the ability to flatten anything in my path and just generally raise hell. It's not the same without it. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/35.gif
