Okay.. I just want to cheer up you folks, and think about all the good points of Forgotten Battles(and now of course the AEP http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/11.gif).

My opinion is that, it has so d**n awesome graphics, and our community is so great, that I have to check this forums about 4 times a day, that I don't miss something.. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

But, what about you, Why Is The Forgotten Battles So Great!?

Keep 'em coming...

The whole package,Graphic,DM,FM.I was especially stunned by the damage modell when I first tried it out(IL2).Never had seen anything like it. For me was WW2 Fighters closest compareable.

Besides the zillion AC or online play or what ever millon other little tidbits that make it great. It's the one fact that Oleg didn't make the game for one type of flight simmer. If you like the cockpit view on the whole time it's perfect for you.If you like a combination of cockpit view and external view to add an action element it's perfect for you.I think it's great they let me decide how i want to play the game.

No, the wingmen are still quite braindead. I started to play the offline Bf-110 campaign (Kuban), and after 2 missions there have been 11 german planes that have gone down without ever even seeing a single enemy plane or facing serious AAA fire. 6 of those were planes crashing into eachother, the 5 others plowed right into the mountains (in their defense, it was raining & 0 visibility).

Yep, I love the way they resolutely stay in their cockpits and go down with the ship if their planes run out of fuel. There should be a radio button for, "JUMP YOU BLOODY FOOL!"
