I really like both games, but the optimization was really poor. A lot of people say that it's the crowds or some other things, but I've noticed that there were frame-drops when staring at blank walls. This happens because the engine renders the area and entities behind that wall, such as the rest of the city, thus creating a lag spike.
I suggest implementing an options to render only visible geometry/entities and to decrease/increase the draw distance. I think it will greatly help with the performance of both Unity and future titles with the same engine.
