just map it like you would any other joystick button. i tried it, the problem i see with it is it only adjust in 5% increments. so youve got to keep pressing it which would be something of a pain. if you wanted to go from 100% throttle to 0% you would have to press it twenty times. couldnt get it to map as a HOTAS.

Why don't you want the profiler?

If you're worried about system resources, you should look into Dhaumzizer drivers. No GUI, no TSR program in the taskbar, I'm sure that takes up a lot less resources than SST.

I used the Dhauzimmer drivers with Hazardscript until this month, when Saitek released their newest drivers. I used the mouse as hat on the main joystick hat, and the mouse nub also, no problems. I'm not sure it's any less of a system hog, I never measured. If you want to mess with it, you'll have some unintalling to do, since the Dhazimmer driver and the Saitek ones can't be installed at the same time, and I think I had to run NukeUSB, but I'm not really sure. I have a mouse enabled profile for both the Saitek and Hazard profilers at my webpage link in my sig.

What new Saitek drivers are you referring to? I can't find anything new on the Saitek site.
