I think that a Vietnam Helicopter sime would be awsome. One where you can fly Huey Gunships, Cobras, Slicks, and or Dustoff missions.

Operation Flashpoint - not *the* most realistic chopper sim, but there are a ton of addons for what you're talking about for it. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Jon Wald from netwings was working on a hudge CFS2 add-on for just that. If you take the FS2002 bell Jetranger and just copy-paste it into the CFS2 aircraft folder, SHAZAAAM !, Gunship.

Seriously, check out http://www.netwings.org , and ask around in there for Jon's Vietnam CFS2 add-on.

OFP? Good chopper physics? Don't ever try flying a chopper then.

If its real combat helicopter physics you want, go pick up a copy of EECH. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Enemy Engaged: Comanche Hokum (http://www.razorworks.com/enemyengaged/)

Probably still the greatest helo combat sim available, should be able to find it for peanuts on Ebay.

Despite looking its age it's still great fun to play; there's nothing like sliding along a valley floor in the Comanche, popping up over the ridgeline and reigning destruction down on the other side's armour.

Wish someone would produce a new sim of its caliber http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-sad.gif

Might even dust my copy off and reinstal it.
