wingman??

Hi all

I got a question about my wingman @ il2 fb aep.
when I assign a wingman to attack a bomber my wingman get behind the target and then almost everytime got shot down (the spray and pray tactik)even when I select the option 'ace' @ quick mission builder or the full mission builder. My tactik is to get above the bombers and dive down and aim for the bombers engine. Are the AI wingman that dumb?

Last night, during a QMB sortie, I was getting my a**e shot to **** by a bogey, and I'm hitting the 'anyone help me' option to my wingman, who's around a mile away. I get the reply from him, something like 'roger, attacking bandits', but looking over, he's in level flight, heading away from my trouble http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/blink.gif I had to gun it towards the wingman, dragging the bogey with me before he did anything about it!

I have that problem too.
