Kozhedub: In combat potential, the Yak-3, La-7 and La-9 fighters were indisputably superior to the Bf-109s and Fw-190s. But, as they say, no matter how good the violin may be, much depends on the violinist. I always felt respect for an enemy pilot whose plane I failed to down.

Beautiful, just beautiful.

And with that particular skin, a Pacific theatre bird...

Can't wait...

Very impressive! We need this class of a/c in the game to improve the mission options, I think. Looking forward to it.

Would a B-26 be too far behind?
Nice work!

It looks great, the radial engine detail looks very nice.

Is that 6 .50 cals in the nose?

Has anyone got a link to the history of the A20? I wouldn't mind a read about it.

How is it that everytime we modellers shows WIP of a plane in the works, someone has to come and ask for a different one...(IE: A-26) http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/crazy.gif http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif
Bit wrong, if u ask me....

Anyways...look here for a good A20 read: http://home.att.net/~jbaugher4/a20.html

NIce plane but, I like the B-25 better http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif But will definetly fly it http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I dunno how historic accurately the read is on this page http://home.att.net/~jbaugher4/a20_1.html but, it says that the Dutch also used this bomber. It's a bit too much honour. After the Japanese overran Dutch east-indies, alot of Dutch fled to Australia. Here they erected a new squadron under the command of the RAAF and the Dutch government ordered B-25's.

The B-25's arrived months behind schedule. A few weeks later, some american pilots in A-20's appeared and they said they had orders to take the B-25's with them. We could have the A-20 in place. But, they wheren't very popular. The B-25 could carry more ammo over a greater distance then the A-20 did and they where quickly replaced when another badge of B-25's appeared. There where never any combat missions flown by the Dutch A-20's at all.

Thanks for the info, seems like it was a popular export. I guess the brits liked it as well as the Mitchel. So the model is a version G? I'll definatly be flying it. I know its alot to ask but is there plane to have the glass nosed version as well?

The C, G and K are on the works. The K will be the last to be done. Rafael and Caspar are doing the internals, and they look very good! Check netwings.net for mroe pics/info.

I check netwings occasionally, if nothing else for the nice pictures of new planes coming soon. I saw the internal updates and they look great. What gets me is this is all done by third party modellers for free, hats of to you guys.
