Hey, I know I'm not very smart but is Hazardscript really better (more flexible, etc.) than SGE? Or was it better when SGE was first released? I've been using SGE for months and find it easy and powerful, the only thing I can't get it to do is use the mouse hat as mouse view which is really cool. So, I fell for the Hazardscript raves and downloaded Dhauzimmer's drivers, which was messy and time consuming and more than just a little thick, and after a day of fooling around with the whole gooey mess now feel like just going back to SGE and forgetting about mouseview. Also, has anyone tried FB View Plus? Does it work, is it user friendly because as I said I ain't real bright but I likes to fly.

What stick you got? I don't use the SGE anymore (or anything else) but as far as i remember i had no problems assigning mouse to the mouse "hat" on my X45 throttle. Can't say if it works with the SGE for other sticks though.

I assume it's an X36 USB stick and that you are running Windows XP. As i said above i got my X45 to work with the mouse on the throttle but it was along time ago and i don't remeber how i did it. I suggest you post the same question in the Community Support forum, some really smart people in there. Don't forget to add as much info as you can gather about your system etc - they will ask for it if you don't http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

The current drivers from Saitek are better tahn the Dhauzimmer's drivers right now. For a while Dhauzimmer's drivers were basically the only way to go if you ran anything but windows 98, but for over a year now Saiteks drivers have enabled every function of their stick in XP.

You can turn any POV hat on your stick to be mouseview, its easy. With the latest drivers just open up the profile editor, and in the box that lists the name of the pov hat you want to assign there is an arrow in the top right corner, click that and select mouse. Easy as that. OH yeah, I forgot, if you have a hyperthreading CPU, (any 800mhz fsb Pentium4) the saitek software causes crashes. They have been working on a fix for a year, and have been saying its almost done for the last two months, but hopefully someday it will be out.

Thanks to all for the help. I guess I'll nuke those Dhauzimmers after all. I'll try out the FB View next. Thanks again. Z

That's exactly what I wanted to know. I have Saitek's 3.2 drivers, do you know if there are newer ones, I couldn't tell from the Saitek site and since I have dialup I don't want to waste any more time downloading. Thanks for your response. Z
