I noticed something from the video presentation of FOR HONOR that could be improve : all the minions have the same model. For knights, i understand the model but for samurai this is unexpected, also it work with wiking. Maybe they got fews details that change but that dont jump on my face. I think a unique model minions for each factions coulld help for the game immersion. (Sorry for my bad english xD, im french)

I believe they are plannig add more models even for one faction.

If you're talking about the major gameplay walkthrough they released, then I think the models used there were very early. I'm guessing they modeled the knights first and used them as placeholders.

In the gameplay shown at E3 (seen here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ojFasaygBH4)), the models are already different (I posted screenshots over here (http://forums.ubi.com/showthread.php/1187811-Why-are-the-player-Characters-so-much-bigger-than-the-NPC-soldier?p=10883000&viewfull=1#post10883000)). The samurai minions are using antiquated shields used by pre-samurai era Japanese infantry, probably so they didn't have to animate entirely separate assets for non-shield-bearing minions, while still making them discernible. It's a nice compromise.

I'm guessing Viking minions will have round shields and either viking swords or axes.
