Hi m8,

I always liked the dramatic music you had in the RAF campaign, prelaunch, as a backdrop to Winston Churchill's speeches. It's great. Perfect for the job and very stirring....I now know where it comes from http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif The Daniel Day-Lewis film, The Last of the Mohicans, was screened on UK TV last night....and whaddya know, there it was! Top stuff!

Hello EPP-Gibbs!

That is music from my upcoming IL2 virtual movie. I sent a cut from the theme music to Extreme_One and Poymando for their RAF campaign. You are 100% correct, it is from the movie "The Last of the Mohicans" ! It suits my film so well that it fit as a glove for the RAF campign also.

Here is the trailer from my upcoming film :

Hope you like it.

Ntesla -

You are talented indeed - I dont know if you have been asked by the developers or principal parties involved in the BoB project yet - but this is exactly the kind of intro the UK campaign folder would need IMHO! If you could do a similar item for the German folder I would love to see it!

I know this is only a trailer - but it is in my opinion it is perfect for the upcomming sim and I, for whatever it is worth, nominate your work as being ideal ! That was sooo smooth.

<S>!

Thank you very much Gentlemen. I have not been asked to do any intros for the new BOB sim or the Pacific but would love to. I really do not know why Ubi or Oleg has asked any of the great talented movie makers to make an intro or promo for them, they have used 3d modelers, skinners and mission makers but no virtual film makers and there are plenty that are great to go around.

Eitherway, thank you for the great compliments, it is remarks like these that keeps making me do this as well the pleasure I have in making them.

I am also working in a German point of view film and an American side also....both so far are about aprox 15 min. each! They should have been out some time ago but were delayed by the work I put into the RAF voice pack.

Well I am serious Ntesla -

I have looked at that trailer ten times and it would be perfect for a flight sim application - it doesnt lose any appeal or impact as a mood setter and it is just the right length in my opinion for the job.

I hope the mods will recommend it.

I look forward to seeing the others - please post them when you are finished if it is no trouble?.. thanks again.

I'm glad NTESLA saw this thread as obviously all the credit should go to him for ALL of the audio that was distributed with the RAF campaign.

FYI I actually received an e:mail from a FB player thanking me for the campaign etc... and he mentioned that he was an extra in "The Last of The Mohicans" so was particularly impressed by the music used in our little project.

Well done NTESLA (THX-1338)

Great link to the trailer....thanks for you work.

Those pilots were modest and had no ego or arrogance....perhaps we all could learn and appreciate how it really was for all sides??

Thanks

That is my purpose for this film, so we all can learn from those who were there in real life, listen to them....learn from them...remember them...
