To Fly and Fight by Clarence "Bud" Anderson
I Was an Ace With The Eigth by Bud Fortier
spring to mind right off the bat. Both are excellent sources of first hand accounts of the Jug & The Pony. Also The Might Eigth by Gerald Astor.
