If there is a 4-engine bomber, it most likely will be the B-24. I believe a finished model is already submitted. No, one has said there will not be a B-29, and it was suggested there might be one, but a B-29 model would eat lots of resources (I would love one, though.). I don't think we can hope for more than one 4-engine type, and the 24 is the one with the widest use in all theaters. The B-25 is highly probable, almost certain, and the B-26 is possible. The Japanese will at least get a Betty. Remember, they plan to overlap planes from FB to PF, so that opens possibilities. IL2FB had only one 4-engine type, the TB3, and only two 2-engine types, the P38 and He111, flyable. Multi-engine planes are costly.

Actually.....you forgot the BF-110. As for the B-17 being flyable....keep your fingers crossed but don't hold yer breath. it's HIGHLY unllikely it will be flyable or even earlier models whch were in use in theater would be a long shot even for AI.
the B-29 WILL be in the sim in some form or another. either as AI or as flyable. the jury is still out on that one.
the P-61 black widow will not make it in time for the release date. but may make it in on the 1st patch. you cant have b-29's with out p-61's to fly escourt. Black Widows would perfom escort duties to returning B-29's in the day time when they were out on "Squint Hops" tuning radar. they did other duities as well. for a plane that was designed as a "Night Fighter" the P-61 was a very verital aircraft that saw extensive service late in the war in many roles.
the B-24 is also still up in the air. this is IMO the MOST NEEDED bomber for the Allies and is the one plane i want the most. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
B-26 is also a looong shot. was being worked on by someone.....but no news as of yet and it's been a Realy looooong time. so again don't hold your breath. PBY depends on Gibbage...and he is intent on modeling the cockpit and has shown great progress. to types are planed.
B-25 is DONE compleated and being held up for PF. all b-25's currently in AEP are rumored to be flyable. the verdict on that is out till we put the disk in the drive and hit run.
there are rumors of a Piper Grasshopper recon plane being flyable....but again that's just rumor.

oh and i almost forgot the A-20 is done and and will be in the game as flyable. if the p-61 gets done and is flyable...we would only need the P-70 (A-20 Night fighter vairent) to round out the USAAF night fighters. this would make for some nice 6th Night Fighter Squadron caimpains.
