Hello all Pilots

I would like to print out the manual on paper.

Problem: When I look in the manual with Adobe acrobat I see for example: page 2 and 3 on one sheet of paper, (page 4-5 on the secons one and so on)
I would like to print out ONLY ONE PAGE PER PAPERSHEET.

This to be able to make a fine real booklike paper-manual of it

Thanks

What paper size are you using?

I ask, because I think you'll find the manual pages are quite small (~about~ A5, or ~about~ half the size of US Letter).

You may find you want to leave the layout as is, and - maybe - cut the pages in 1/2 after printing.

One possible reason for using .pdf files is to STOP you messing with print layout.

Why do UBI (and other games software houses) want to stop you messing with their manuals?
No idea.

p.s. Yes, I know, there are ways of changing (unprotected) .pdf files ... search google for pdf to text converters ... you may need a programming/scripting language (eg Python, Perl, or *maybe* Ruby) to help with layout.

It wouldn't be easy to do. It possibly would be easier to find an old or unwanted copy of the game and get a printed manual that way.

If you want, you can have a look here for another manual, although it's a little long to print out:

Just print them out in the default format, glue the spreads together (e.g. pages 2-3 with pages 4-5), make a cover, and voila: You got yourself a nice, booklike manual.

The original manuals are in fonts for the smaller page format, so 2 pages on a regular 8-1/2 by 11 inch sheet is quite legible. I just got a three hole puch and a loose-leaf binder to keep mine in, and it works fine.
