Nope...they say that "flight model" is inaccurate over 10000m.
Otherwise...you can go higher with the planes...I did not do B1 trials in FB, but in Il-2 I was going over 25000m.

I can get the Jug to 14500m, the Ki-84 to 13800m, the G2, G10, G14, K4 to over 13000m (once after a long time I managed to get a G2 to 14000), etc, etc...

Ah, in "full real" settings and no ammo.

I can swear I heard Oleg mention that anything over 10,000M the air density stays the same.

i've gotten to 46,000 m. I have SS's if you want em, but no where to host em.

Well, with LIMITED FUEL, full real settings, I took the B1 to 40550m.
Started with 100% fuel and at 100m in QMB.
With unlimited, and arcade settings it will go maybe more.

Yes, flight model does not change over 10,000m

What do settings have to do with altitude performance?

NOTHING!

How did you get that thing up to 40000m with limited fuel? http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

The BI1 is a FB-freak by all means. It only serves as an exception to the rule of well researched and implemented flight models. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-indifferent.gif

Well, if you set no stall, no other settings...you will fly more "easily", aka less corrections, etc...thus burn less fuel and you can go higher.
Not to mention if u use a "real plane", checking the NO overheat will gain you a few meters in alt as you can push more.

And yes, with limited fuel it got to 40350 and "cruised" to 40550m after which it began to fall.
