Were there any thoughts given to development of a "secret weapons" expansion of IL-2? Not just limited to aircraft but to air to air and ground to air missile technology. Also what about all the aircraft the luftwaffe had on the drawing board before capitulation; swept-wing fighters, Go229 and others.

Its already been done. I'm having a great time flying the YP-80 VS some intriguing Luftwaffe fighters.

No air to air guided missiles...those would never have been ready in 1946. They weren't available in Korea either.

The Germans experimented with a wire guided missile I believe, I think some were even used, but the wire poses a serious problem for the attacking craft.
