Once I get to my bombing altitude I have a hard time keeping the plane trimmed flat with the level stabilizer on. My rudder trim works great but elevator trim does nothing and I slowly drop altitude as I approach my target.

Am I doing something wrong?

You are not doing anything wrong, the level stabilizer is dropping alt.

A trick that I find usefull is to add a tiny amount of flaps. I mapped the flaps to the mouse-wheel in order to make small adjustements possible. That way you can trim the plane level.

Unfortunately this does not work with the TB-3 as she has no flaps.

Nope, you aren't doing anything wrong, like RasMicheal said, there is bug perhaps, wich causes the level stabilizer to drop altitude.
I just ignore it, and adjust the bombsight altitude/true airspeed all the time... http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

..Or, you can start the level stabilizer about 200 meters above the planned alt..

I really hope this will be fixed. But anyway this is such an awesome sim, so I don't worry my mind too much with that. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Thanks guys, I'll try setting my mouse wheel for flaps.
