Just recieved my FW-190A-3 blueprint form AviationShoppe.com and I have to say I am very pleased. It is HUGE with 183 accurately labeled parts. There are numerous aircraft available and the price has recently dropped (only $15!!!). Even blueprints of the Merlin, DB 601, BMW 801D, and even the Bristol Pegasus are available (and more). For $15 I am VERY pleased. The borders are also generous for framing, which I will do shortly. You have to see one to appreciate it (especially the size). If you have a favorite plane then this is a must, if you are a fan of WWII aviation this is still a very nice buy. The Wright Flyer, Piper cub, Me-262, Rolls Royce Turbojet, Etc. Everything is here and I'll definitely be picking up a few more.

Here is the link, check them out: It may take some navigating but there are alot of planes available. Some even have recorded sounds that can be listened to when browsing. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

No problem. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Just ordered Typhoon and FW-190(hand rendered version) for myself and P-38 for my friend. Order 3 and shipping is free.

Make sure to look under "what's new", then check under both "Historic aircraft" and "Warbird fighters" to see all of the WWII planes.

The Yak 3 & 9, La-5, Ki-61, ki-84, I-153, F-8 Bearcat, etc. They are all here.

I recommend ordering 3 if you can. Shipping is like $5 or so, if you order 3 then it is free which means you are getting the third one for around $10 (which is ridiculous). Just another heads up.

Let me know what you guys think when they arrive if you get the chance. I can't wait to see the P-38, it looks like ALOT of labeled parts on that one.

I read on netwings il2 development forum that those blueprints are not good for modeling a plane for fb http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

By the way your bumping it so much are you their sales representative? http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Calm down Yay. I only bumped it once and that was the next day. Look at the date of my ONE bump. The reason I bumped it once was because I thought it was/is a great deal and because at the time forum traffic was heavy so it dropped fast. I guess one bump qualifies as "bumping it so much?" My other posts were made shortly after others posted so there was no bumping.

As for them not being good for modelling, who knows. What I do know is that I recieved mine and that I am very satisfied with the product. Huge blueprint with MANY detailed labeled parts for $16 = http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif Looks pretty accurate to me but I'll let the slide-ruler guys debate that.

Just thought some people might like to know as they are usually around $26. Oops, did I bump this again. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Is it just a perspective view? Or does it have all parts as well and 4 view, left, right, top, bottom, and perspective cutout? I would like to know

Just a perspective view though it is very detailed. As I said my 190 had 183 labeled parts. There is a "hand rendered" 190 version as well that seems to have some individual parts rendered, but I've only seen it for the 190. I would recommend giving one a try at $16 it is a steal. Like I said I got mine and it's huge, very well done, and I am completely satisfied.

The couple of examples shown in this thread are indicitive of the real thing, just MUCH bigger making labeled parts and text easy to see/read. ElAurens example (P-40) shows how detailed they are and you can see how many parts are labeled as well.
