Umm, Sorry for being so "green" about the terms that often come out in this board.

But what's the meaning of these?

IIRC?
Uber? (Uberplanes?)

Anyway, I can only remember two right now but im sure there are others that i forgot. Please add more, and also with their meanings.

Thanks http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Uber - comes from the German word über, which means "over". In the Forum its used for "overmodelled". http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-wink.gif http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/10.gif

Thanks guys.

Speaking about uberplanes, IIRC http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif, in my CFS 3 days, I modified the flight characteristic of several planes just to experiment and have some fun.

One of the experiment that I did was about doubling the engine power and cut half the weight of the plane. And also enlarge the ailerons, rudder and elevators area.

The plane (if im not mistaken) was XP-56, well it was. After the mod, it became an UFO

But, heck, i'll install that POS again sometimes - in not so near future anyway. Still LMAO http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif when i can make that overmodeled XP56 gets overmodeled even more. Sort of having a plane that can do slalom test. LOL.

"So when Diogenes perceived that he was greatly excited and quite keyed up in mind with expectancy, he toyed with him and pulled him about in the hope that somehow he might be moved from his pride and thirst for glory and be able to sober up a little. For he noticed that at one time he was delighted, and at another grieved at the same thing, and that his soul was as unsettled as the weather at the solstices when both rain and sunshine come from the very same source."

The second is more immediately useful for general internet abbreviations. Neither contain much in the way of flight sim specific stuff.
