Look here:

http://www.netwings.org/dcforum/DCForumID43/724.html

For me, this one is probably the best model I ever saw!

But there's already another Mk.IX in preparation for FB.

So, why not simply transform this model in a Mark VIII (only a few external differences from the Mk.IX) so everybody will be happy?

What do you think?

Cheers,

I like. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/images/smiley/16x16_smiley-happy.gif
I have a feeling that BoB will not be released til at least Xmas 2005 http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif (Because it will take that long to have the next gen hardware in place for most people) If this is true, there seems to be enough projects in the works out there, (these Spits included) to warrant a few more add-ons. (That would be the smart marketing move to keep product moving over the next 2 years).
It'd be a shame to see all the other projects abandoned because they were not ready for this expansion pack, wouldn't you agree?

How many joystick threads show up every month?
How many TrackIR threads?
How many, 'how do I do (whatever)'?
How many, etc?

Most importantly, in regards to this thread, how many times has a modeler made new threads about the same model he/she is working on? OR, how many times have different people posted about that same thing with the link/s to that thread?

Why is this any different? Give it a rest. Why some are sooo hostile towards this Spit is beyond me. 'I'really do not care when it was made, or, who made it, (anyway, it appears that it does belong to the original poster at NW), it is the best Spit I have seen. Many others feel the same way. So, why shouldn't we get a chance, or two, to see it?

Most every one wants different planes. If we have a new modeler in the house, more power to him/her!

Despite the little tiff there everyone adores the exact same spit you have here, there. Oh well only trying to be helpful

Well, also, the link in this thread is pointing to a different thread with different pics. So, not the same as the other thread, anyway.

I am just waiting to see if any other Spit variants are going to be 'picked up' and worked on in the immediate future. Maybe there will be more Spits in future releases than anyone anticipated, which is a good thing.

EDIT: Arm_slinger, as for as 'I' am concerned, you were helpful, just as this thread was helpful.

In a month yes, it's understandable, but this one was 2 threads above the other one, and the pics in this thread are also posted in the other thread, virtually the very same discussion is going on in the other thread as well.

Spreading active discussions over multiple threads leads to confusion.

quote:
In a nutshell, the boards need better moderation.

Ugh! Another post/'edit'.

Let me be clear about this, too. I am merely saying it appears we need more Moderators, not better Moderators. I like the Mods. <smoooch> http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

EDIT: Yikes! I am too busy. I just screwed up my original posts here. Hahahaaa. (Well, at least, you, Cappadocian_317, saw what you needed to see. http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif)

AGAIN, my POINT is that TWO ACTIVE discussions lead to CONFUSION.

MANY threads are opened about the SAME issue because the OTHER threads are NOT being used anymore.

NOW we have TWO ACTIVE threads about the SAME issue.

I don't care if a new thread is opened if the other one is on page 3 or beyond, bumping old threads is just as anoying as opening a new one on a topic already discussed.

If that's too hard for you to get then there is very little I can do about it.

Edit: Sorry for being harsh, I saw your edit to late.

Yes, I would have edited sooner, too, but I was on the phone. (And I still am.)

BTW, NP about the harshness.

EGADS! LOL

We are going to make a thread out of this yet! (Now, that is a Southerner talking!) I simple meant I gave the link to your thread (which you did not http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif).

OK. I surrender! http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

EDIT: "I simple meant"... haha. OK. I am taking a break now to go find my brain.
