Hey All,

I have a top of the range PC with an awesome graphic card and lots of memory. I can play on perfect setting but the frame rate is a little slow. Is there a way I can spice it up?

Cheers!

Jay

excellent looks better to me anyway. except the water. you'll also get 2wice the frames with dx that you do with open gl. At least I do.

I play in excellent at 1600 X 12 6XAA AND 8 X AF and i get about 50-60 fps in the cockpit with about 70-120 outside. If I go to perfect mode and open gl with the ssame settings I go to about 25-30 fps in the cockpit. If open gl looks better, I can't tell.

i'm trying to decide if the game looks better at 1024 x 768 with 6xaa and 16xaf. I think it just may.

You're a spoiled man Extra... lol. I have entry-mid range system. XP1700, 512 DDR400 in duel channel, 9600Pro and I go good on medium-high details using DirectX. I also get lower frames on OpenGL... of course.

At high altitude, is the distance to the map horizon greater in Perfect than lower settings?

How do you see enemy pixels at 1600x1200?

Hey Guys,

My specs are: P4 3gig, Radeon X800Pro graphic card (256mg) and very fast harddrive. It plays Far Cry on max level superbly. I thought this could handle FB reasonably well but the frame rate is just that irritating.

Many thanks,

Jay
